Nothing says ‘consumerism’ like the winter holidays.

Using only materials on hand, your own or those at the D+AH, make gifts from the heart and build queer community while doing it.

FREE. In person or virtually. Attend one day or both, for some or all of the time.

  • markers of various colors, sizes

  • charcoal sticks

  • oil pastels

  • mod-podge

  • craft paint

  • lots of thread & needles

  • glitter

  • Ball jars & tealight candles

  • acrylic paints & brushes

  • tons of magazines for collage

  • scissors, glue, glue sticks, tape

  • exacto knives

  • small letter stamps & ink pads

  • crayons

  • various sizes of paper of various weights

  • tissue paper in lots of colors

  • medium-size letter stencils

The Dyke+ ArtHaus Pilot Residency (DYKE A.I.R.) is a trial run for the 2024 Inaugural Dyke+ ArtHaus Residency for Dyke-identified visual artists over 40.

Come meet and view the work of Megan Levine (@meganlevineart) and Sharifa Meytung (@sharifameytung).

At 6pm they will discuss their collaboration "Dyke Art Lineage: An Abstracted Family Tree”.

2022 marks the first year that the Dyke+ ArtHaus is a POST Community Partner, anchoring the Mantua neighborhood in the West Philly Quadrant. Come visit and envision participating in a retreat or other event in the space, or hosting your own event here. We will also be highlighting the photography of ArtHaus founder Juno Rosenhaus, who lives and has her studio here.
