What is the Dyke+ ArtHaus?

A community-driven home and feminist space for Dyke artists of all persuasions, centering intergenerationality.

The physical manifestation of Juno Rosenhaus’ art practice, the Dyke+ ArtHaus hosts exhibits, salons, residencies, and welcomes collaborations with other Dyke/ Queer/ Trans/ Feminist individuals and organizations.

The D+AH also welcomes Queer & Trans folks to stay as short-term guests, have a porch visit, and soak in Dyke culture.

Dyke+ ArtHaus

In 2020 Juno Rosenhaus bought a three-story brick house in Philadelphia, USA, to realize the vision of expanding her art practice into an ArtHaus for Dykes of all persuasions.

Residencies, salons, exhibits, and other events happen here.

Rooms are available for friends and travelers and, yes, that’s an invitation.

What Does it Mean?

  • DYKE

If you consider yourself a Dyke, then you’re a Dyke. If you’re a Dyke and you know it, clap your fucking hands, snap your gorgeous fingers, stomp your damn feet. ~ Or if that doesn’t make sense, see image below.

  • +

You align yourself with Dykes but don’t necessarily call yourself one. You’re non-binary, femme, trans-masc, intersex, lesbian, fill-in-the-gender identity... You’re community and a plus.

  • ArtHaus

It’s an art house created by Juno Rosenhaus. Get it?

…as well as a nod to art hauses / movements that came before. Look ‘em up.
