6pm Reading Event - Sonja Dahl from the Coalition to Abolish Death By Incarceration (CADBI) will read statements by trans women incarcerated at two different PA prisons.

“I have been fighting the PA DOC for trans healthcare and trans rights since 2017 and at times I feel like we're always back to square one. With the new 47 guy in office I KNOW we're going to be set back 5-10 years. We are hated by many and I take that fury inside of me and try to create beauty. My dreams are not always inspirational ones. Some are dark and I paint as such. But I bring color to that darkness. I speak out loud on my canvases and pray that someone hears me. My paintings say what I cannot without penalty or judgement.”
