The Dyke+ ArtHaus has one room available at $650/mo in this 3-person multi-generational, multi-racial, feminist household. Ideal for a dyke/trans/queer-identified artist/musician/activist in their 30s, 40s, or 50s.

The available medium-size bedroom is located on the 3rd floor and has one closet, three windows (two facing east for lovely sunrises), hardwood floors, and a ceiling fan. The 3rd floor has a shared kitchen, bathroom, and laundry room. PHOTOS BELOW.

The Haus is a beautiful old West Philly three-story home with lots of original wood and stained glass, a front porch and backyard; space large enough so everyone has plenty of privacy but can easily come together. The 1st floor living room, dining room, and half bathroom are shared space.

You are a mature and responsible artist/musician who is feminist and politically left; anti-racist/ anti-fascist/ anti-TERF, and fully Covid-vaccinated with the latest booster. You have healthy relationships to food/ alcohol/ money and especially people; excel at open, direct, and clear communication; have previous experience living in shared spaces, and have people who can provide stellar references.

You have an interest in sharing space/ building community with other dyke/queer artists and collectively hosting ArtHaus events.

OTHER IMPORTANT DETAILS:
~ Utilities are included in monthly rent and include gas, electric, water, internet, compost, and pest control.
~ Dogs are welcome with attentive owner who stays on top of cleaning up pet hair and doesn’t use the backyard as a pet bathroom. Sorry we can’t accept cats as too many people who visit are allergic.
~ No chronic cigarette/weed/vape smokers or heavy incense. Any and all smoking must be done outside.
~ Multiple bus lines and trolley to Center City are within blocks.
~ Five-minute bike ride to Fairmount Park; near Zoo, Art Museum, Penn Med, and more.
